Paul Young

Paul Young is an accomplished technology executive and co-founder with extensive experience in diverse sectors including carbon insurance, fintech, and asset management. Currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder at Kita, Paul focuses on enabling the scalability of carbon removal projects through innovative insurance products. As an Advisory Board Member at Geospatial Insight Limited, Paul contributes to the development of alternative data products for ESG finance. Previous roles include leadership positions at Home James, Carbon13, Nasdaq, and Sybenetix, where Paul excelled in technology transformation and product management, while also building strategic ventures aimed at addressing the climate crisis. Paul holds a Ph.D. in Cosmology from Durham University and has a BSc in Physics with Astrophysics from the University of Birmingham.
