Svetlana Vashkel

Svetlana Vashkel has extensive work experience in the investment industry. Svetlana currently holds the position of Senior Investment Manager at CDP Venture Capital SGR - Fondo Nazionale Innovazione, a role they have held since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked as an Investment Manager at the same company from January 2020 to June 2021.

In addition to their role at CDP Venture Capital, Svetlana has served as a Board Observer at GreenBone Ortho S.r.l. since March 2020. Svetlana has also held Non-Executive Director positions at Kither Biotech, Echolight, Aileens Pharma, Sweetguest, and BigProfiles.

Earlier in their career, Svetlana worked at Invitalia Ventures SGR SpA, initially as an Investment Analyst from April 2016. Svetlana later became an Investment Manager from July 2018 to January 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Investment analyst at Invitalia Ventures SGR from January 2016 to May 2018.

Before joining Invitalia Ventures, Svetlana worked as a Business Analyst at Invitalia - Agenzia Nazionale per l'attrazione degli investimenti e lo sviluppo d'impresa S.p.A from November 2013 to March 2016.

Svetlana Vashkel obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with majors in corporate finance and the energy sector from LUISS Business School, which they attended from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they studied International economics at Omsk State Transport University from 2004 to 2009, earning a degree called Laurea in Scienze dell'Economia e della Gestione Aziendale.

In addition to their formal education, Svetlana Vashkel also obtained several certifications. In October 2018, they completed a course on Drug Development offered by the University of California San Diego through Coursera. In May 2017, they completed a course on Entrepreneurship 3: Growth Strategies offered by the University of Pennsylvania Wharton, also through Coursera. In April 2017, they completed several other courses related to entrepreneurship and quantitative modeling from the same institution. Additionally, in April 2016, they obtained a certificate in "Venture deals" from the Kauffman Fellows Academy.
