Abigail Dominguez

Abigail Dominguez has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Content Marketing Strategist at Kitsap Credit Union, where they began in March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Kitsap Humane Society as a Marketing & Social Media Coordinator from June 2021 to March 2023. In this role, they created daily content for various social media platforms, managed a large follower base, and produced a monthly e-newsletter.

Before their time at Kitsap Humane Society, Abigail worked as a Receptionist at NAVY EXCHANGE SERVICE COMMAND (NEXCOM) from August 2020 to October 2020, providing excellent customer service to U.S. Navy personnel. Abigail also worked as an Executive Assistant at Triciaromano.com from January 2020 to April 2020, transcribing oral histories and organizing audio recordings and files.

Abigail obtained valuable research and writing experience through their roles at the University of Washington. As part of their Honors Thesis from September 2019 to June 2020, they conducted research and authored a 50-page ethnography analyzing the narrative surrounding STEM majors. Abigail also worked as a Reporter for The Daily UW from March 2019 to March 2020, where they developed well-rounded and reliable stories through interviews and connections to the community. Abigail additionally contributed as a Writer for Their Campus at UW from January 2019 to January 2020, and as a Creator and Blog Author for Undiscovered, WA from August 2016 to January 2020.

During their time at the University of Washington, Abigail also participated in a Study Abroad program from September 2018 to December 2018. Additionally, they had a role as a Summer Camp Counselor at Skagit Valley Family YMCA from June 2019 to August 2019.

Overall, Abigail has demonstrated their skills in content creation, social media management, research, writing, customer service, and organization through their various work experiences.

Abigail Dominguez's education history begins in 2015 when they attended Skagit Valley College. Abigail completed their Associate of Arts degree in General Studies in 2017. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Washington where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism. Abigail studied at the University of Washington from 2017 to 2020.
