Scott Gard has a diverse work experience in various roles within the technology and telecommunications industry.

Scott is currently working as a Network Engineer at Kitsap Credit Union since 2022.

Prior to this, they worked as a Network Engineer at Kitsap Public Utility District from 2021 to 2022. In this role, they implemented network monitoring for over 80 switches and routers, which helped prevent damage to a core switch due to an air conditioning failure. Scott also updated network documentation and verified network configurations and mappings for use by others.

Scott Gard began their education at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where they earned an A&P certification from 2009 to 2010. Scott then went on to attend WGU Washington from 2016 to 2019, focusing on IT-Security. In addition to their formal education, Scott has also obtained several certifications. Scott achieved a Project+ certification from CompTIA in September 2016, a Linux+ certification from CompTIA in November 2017, and an A+ certification from CompTIA in October 2015. Scott also earned several Cisco certifications, including the Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA) in August 2019 and CCNA in January 2019. Furthermore, they obtained a Network+ certification from CompTIA in April 2016 and a Security+ certification from CompTIA in March 2017.
