Liz Byrom Ph.D., Pe

Liz Byrom, PhD, PE, is a Senior Engineer at Kittelson & Associates, Inc., with a diverse background in transportation engineering spanning several years. Prior to the current role, Liz held multiple positions at North Carolina State University, including Graduate Research Assistant, where contributions included evaluating red-light camera effectiveness and analyzing freeway bottlenecks. Earlier experience includes an internship at Dewberry, focusing on civil design and project management. Liz holds a PhD in Civil Engineering with a focus on Transportation Systems, along with both a Master and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University. Additionally, Liz participated in a study abroad program at the North Carolina State University - Prague Institute.
