Adam Chalmers has had a diverse range of work experiences in various companies.
Adam started their career at The Performance Network (TPN) as a Software Engineering Intern, where they worked on creating systems for displaying ads and tracker user details across websites. Adam also performed database analysis and developed a program to predict future trends.
Adam then joined Throw the Looking Glass as a Developer, where they helped program and design games with educational benefits. The company later changed its name to See Through Studios, and Adam continued their role until February 2012.
In 2012, Adam worked as a Developer at See Through Studios, a new company focused on rapid game development. Adam contributed to the development of games and documented the process online.
Adam later interned at Google as a Software Engineering Intern, working on projects related to Google Drive for Android and internal networking software.
Following their internships, Adam joined Freelancer.com as a Software Engineering Intern, where they worked as an infrastructure engineer. Adam built a dashboard to monitor build statuses, unit test results, and test coverage for relevant repositories.
Adam then joined the University of Sydney as a Tutor, teaching various subjects including Algorithms, Databases, Logic and Formal Languages, Project Management, and Introduction to Programming. Adam also directed and co-wrote an original variety show during their time at the university.
Adam joined RetailMeNot, Inc. as a Software Engineer II, focusing on iOS development. Adam was responsible for app health metrics, app launch optimization, and redesigning the onboarding experience.
At Cloudflare, Adam held multiple roles. Adam started as a System Engineer, contributing to the development of Cloudflare Tunnel. Adam then became a Tech Lead, working on "Data Loss Prevention" and building security-focused tools. Adam was also the biggest contributor to the client package for starting tunnels.
Adam's most recent work experience is at KittyCAD, where they serve as a Systems Engineer.
Adam Chalmers attended the University of Sydney from 2010 to 2016, where they pursued a joint Bachelor of Information Technology and Bachelor of Arts degree with honors. Adam'sfield of study included computer science and philosophy. In 2013, they had a brief academic experience as an exchange student at The University of Texas at Austin, focusing on computer science and liberal arts.
