Tom Heine

Tom Heine, PhD, currently serves as Principal Mission and Spacecraft Systems Engineer at Millennium Space Systems, A Boeing Company, and as Adjunct Associate Professor of Orbital Mechanics at Western Michigan University. Previously, Tom held the position of Chief Engineer at Metrea Vantage Labs, Flight Systems Engineering Lead at Metrea Orbital Effects, and senior roles at Millennium Space Systems. Tom's early career includes significant positions such as Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Michigan and Engineering Project Manager at Boston University. Tom holds a PhD in Space Physics and a Master of Engineering in Space Systems Engineering from the University of Michigan, as well as graduate studies in International Relations at Harvard University Extension School and a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Western Michigan University.
