Karla Rodriguez

Karla Rodriguez is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the cannabis industry and environmental testing. Currently serving as the Chair, Vice Chair, and Organizer for the Cannabis Manufacturing Committee at the National Cannabis Industry Association since January 2023, Karla also holds the positions of Safety & Security Program Manager and Bilingual Safety & Security Specialist at Kiva Brands, Inc. since March 2023, alongside operating as an independent consultant through EQO Insight, offering laboratory consulting services in cannabis emissions testing. Prior roles include Lab Director and Operations Manager at Enthalpy Specialty Labs, where Karla developed methodologies for cannabis smoke and aerosol testing, and positions at Enthalpy Analytical focusing on trace metals and environmental testing. Early career experiences include lifeguarding with the City of Brisbane and conducting research at the University of San Francisco. Karla holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of San Francisco.
