Kathy Guis has extensive experience in investment management and microfinance, currently serving as Vice President, Investments at Kiva since February 2010. In this role, Kathy leads a global team focused on deploying Kiva's crowdfunded capital to support microfinance institutions and social enterprises. Previously, Kathy held multiple regional leadership positions at Kiva, including Regional Director for Africa and the Middle East, as well as Europe and Asia, overseeing portfolio management and expansion efforts. Earlier career roles include Senior Field Support Specialist at Memoir and Associate Editor at Red Bricks Media. Kathy holds a degree from Cornell University, obtained in 2006.
