Aunoy Banerjee is executive vice president and head of Corporate Services and Investments for State Street Corporation. In this role, Aunoy is responsible for State Street’s third-party relationships and transformation of our vendor management strategy, including both Global Procurement Services and Global Realty. He is also responsible for the State Street Investment Portfolio.
Aunoy joined State Street in February 2016, as the head of Business Unit Finance and enterprise-wide financial planning and analysis (FP&A). He was responsible for enterprise-wide financial management, earnings preparation, budgeting, forecasting and strategic financial planning. As the BU Finance head, he managed major State Street businesses and functions including Institutional Services, Global Markets, Alpha, Corporate Functions, Global Technology and Global Operations. In addition, he was responsible for improving the corporate functions’ effectiveness to support State Street’s Management Committee and business units in driving financial performance.
In 2019, Aunoy became the chief transformation officer and led the company wide transformation program – Simplify, Deliver and Grow to improve client Net Promoter Score, employee engagement and shareholder return in a meaningful way.
Prior to State Street, Aunoy was with Citi, where he was responsible for FP&A, client analytics, balance sheet management and legal entity management for Citi’s Fixed Income, Equities Trading and Securities Services businesses. Before this, he led Citi Finance’s enterprise wide CCAR, Global Forecasting and Planning and Decision Support teams.
Aunoy is a graduate of Citigroup’s Financial Management Associate Program as well as GE’s Finance Management Leadership Program, which included global assignments across different businesses in EMEA, APAC and the United States.
Aunoy has an undergraduate degree from St. Stephens College, University of Delhi, and a post-graduate diploma in management from SP Jain Institute of Management and Research in Mumbai. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree in corporate finance and strategy from the Simon Business School at the University of Rochester.
