Nicolas Lafaye

Nicolas Lafaye is the Regional Director for Latin America and the Caribbean at Kiva.org, overseeing a diverse portfolio of 82 partners across 19 countries since February 2010. With a strong focus on portfolio management, team leadership, and cross-organizational collaboration, Lafaye has successfully structured investments, mitigated risks, and assisted in loan product development. Previously, Lafaye served as a Portfolio Manager for South-East Asia and the Pacific and for South America, where responsibilities included partner relationship management, business development, and due diligence. Prior to Kiva, Lafaye worked as a Management Controller for Capital Markets and Structured Finance Operations at Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking. Lafaye holds a Master's degree in International Relations and Affairs and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Management from Université Paris Dauphine, and a Baccalauréat S from Saint Louis de Gonzague-Franklin.
