Alvaro Duran

Alvaro Duran is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the fintech and technology sectors. Currently serving as a Tech Ambassador (Backend) at Kiwi.com since February 2023, Alvaro promotes the strategic use of technology within the organization. Prior to this, Alvaro held positions as a Senior Software Engineer at Vesto, where stringent requirements for financial security were paramount, and at EdgeTier, focused on enhancing enterprise customer service through AI solutions. Alvaro also contributed to software development at GESTORES 1880 SA, was a Data Scientist at Octopus Investments, and worked as a Digital Consultant at Capco, specializing in financial services. Alvaro's career began with an internship as a Data Analyst at Renta 4. Alvaro holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a Master of Science in Finance from CUNEF Universidad.
