Joaquin Meckler-Pacheco

Joaquin Meckler-Pacheco serves as a Senior Manager in Sustainable Investing at KKR & Co. Inc. since July 2022. Previously, Joaquin held the position of Finance Manager at Regeneration.VC, focusing on developing impact metrics for investments in the circular economy and an ESG screening framework. Joaquin's experience includes a Climate Corps Fellowship at the Environmental Defense Fund, an ESG and Sustainability Associate role at Rotunda Capital Partners, and a research assistantship in ESG performance at TPG. Additional roles include Associate Environmental Planner at Caltrans and consultancy at FirstCarbon Solutions, along with earlier internships and research positions in environmental science. Joaquin holds a Master of Environmental Science and Management from the Bren School at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Bachelor's degree in Conservation Biology from the University of California, Davis.
