Martin Kon

Martin Kon serves as the President & COO and Board Director at Cohere since 2023. Additionally, Martin holds the position of Industry Advisor at KKR and is an Advisory Board Member at Akkadian Ventures, both roles starting in 2024 and 2022, respectively. Previously, Martin was the CFO at YouTube from 2019 to 2023 and held various strategic leadership roles at Google from 2021 to 2023, focusing on Global Strategy and Business Operations. Martin's earlier career includes significant positions at Boston Consulting Group as a Senior Partner & Managing Director from 2015 to 2019 and at Oliver Wyman, where Martin co-headed the Global Communications, Media & Technology Practice from 2013 to 2015. Martin's professional journey began at Bosch in the early 1990s. Martin earned a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University and an MBA from Queen's University.
