Andrew Wright

Andrew Wright is a Partner at K&L Gates, where involvement includes the investigations, enforcement, and white-collar practice groups, along with the public policy and law practice. As a Senior Fellow and Founding Editor at Just Security since August 2018, Andrew has significantly contributed to legal discourse. Previously, leadership as Director of Legal Policy during the Biden-Harris Presidential Transition was followed by a role as an Associate Professor at Savannah Law School. Andrew's tenure includes positions at The White House as Associate Counsel, and significant legislative experience with the U.S. House of Representatives. Earlier career stages feature roles as a Litigation Associate at Jackson Kelly PLLC and Skadden Arps, supplemented by academic contributions as Adjunct Law Faculty at West Virginia University. Andrew holds a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law and a BA in Politics from Washington and Lee University.
