Katherine Mason

Katherine Mason is a highly experienced professional in both the legal and music fields. Currently serving as a Senior Patent Paralegal at K&L Gates since March 2022, Katherine has a comprehensive background in patent prosecution, having held various positions at firms such as Lando & Anastasi, LLP, and McCarter & English, LLP. Notable responsibilities include preparing documents for the USPTO and managing prior art databases. Additionally, Katherine brings a strong musical foundation as a tenured Third Horn with Norwalk Symphony and has held teaching roles as a music educator and band director in different school districts. Katherine holds a Paralegal Certificate from Suffolk University, along with a Master's degree in Music from Yale University and a Bachelor's degree in Performance/Education from Ithaca College.
