Serguei Likhanski

Serguei Likhanski is a highly experienced Principal Engineer/Scientist at KLA, specializing in UV light-induced optical damage mitigation and the development of optics vendors for DUV and high laser power manufacturing since 2012. Prior to this role, Serguei held positions as a Sr. Manager at Optigrate, Inc., focusing on optical glass manufacturing, and as an OEM Optical Engineer at Ocean Optics, where involvement centered on spectroscopy-related applications. Earlier experience includes serving as a Sr. Material Process Development Engineer at Corning Inc., developing GUV laser systems for optical damage testing, and as a Sr. Optical Engineer at Cymer, contributing to excimer laser metrology and DUV optics characterization. Serguei’s career began at MPB Communications as an Optical Engineer, developing erbium doped fiber products. Serguei holds an MSc in Engineering Physics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
