Shmuel Karp

Shmuel Karp is an experienced engineer with a strong background in electronic design and FPGA development. Currently serving as a Logic Design Engineer at KLA since June 2020, Shmuel specializes in logic design on Intel FPGA platforms, focusing on image processing modules and high-speed interfaces. Prior roles include FPGA Engineer at ELOP, where Shmuel worked on logic design and image processing implementation, and R&D Manager at Weldobot, overseeing a multi-disciplinary team in the welding industry. Shmuel's experience spans various positions, including Electronic Design Manager at Manz Israel and Senior Electronic Engineer at BrightView Systems, where project management and system integration were key responsibilities. Educational qualifications include a BSc in Communication and Electronic Circuits from Ben Gurion University of the Negev and an MBA in Finance from The College of Management - Academic Studies (COMAS).
