Ian Hsieh

Ian Hsieh is a skilled Game Economy Designer currently employed at Klang Games since August 2023. Prior to this role, Ian served as an Economic Research Fellow at Sciences Po, where Ian utilized advanced data analysis techniques in Python, R, and MATLAB to model economic scenarios and effectively communicate research findings. In earlier positions, Ian managed dining hall operations in the Republic of China Army, optimizing food distribution systems, and also contributed to significant cost reduction in project management as an Economic Research Fellow at Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Ian began an analytical career with a role as a Survey Data Analyst Intern at the Lyric Opera of Chicago. Ian holds a Master's degree in Social Sciences with an Economics concentration from the University of Chicago, a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Economics from Arizona State University, and completed an exchange year at the London School of Economics.
