Brian Agudelo

Brian Agudelo has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. Brian began as a Graduate Assistant at North Carolina Central University in 2008. In 2011, they became a SQL Programmer at Accelerated Data Systems, where they developed and debugged complex stored procedures using T-SQL and mentored other developers. In 2012, they joined Datalere as a Consultant, Business Intelligence and Data Engineer, providing services to National Cinemedia, OtterBox, Impact Confections, and Market Perceptions. In 2019, they moved to Bank of America as an AVP - Consultant - System Engineer, where they led a diverse development team in projects to solve information and data architecture issues. In 2022, they began working at Virginia Tech as a Senior Data Engineer. Currently, they are a Senior Data Engineer at KlariVis.

Brian Agudelo obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Appalachian State University in Computer Information Systems from 2004 to 2007. Brian then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) and a Master of Information Science (M.I.S.) from North Carolina Central University between 2008 and 2010. In addition, they have obtained several certifications from Microsoft, including MCSE: Business Intelligence Solutions Expert in April 2016, MCSA: SQL Server Solutions Associate in March 2016, MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional in June 2015, and Exam 462: Administering Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014 Databases.
