Benjamin Emde

Benjamin Emde has over a decade of work experience in the technology industry. Benjamin is currently working as a Senior Engineering Manager at Klarna since November 2019. Prior to this, they held the position of Engineering Manager at Klarna from April 2018 to November 2019.

Before joining Klarna, Benjamin worked at GoEuro from June 2017 to December 2017 as an Engineering Manager. During their time there, they were responsible for the technical delivery of the 5-developer Search Platform team and successfully coordinated the shift from a monolith to microservices, implementing CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes. As a Software Engineer, they played a crucial role in building and developing GoEuro into the leading European multi-modal travel search engine.

Benjamin started their career as an Intern - Software Developer at SAP in September 2008, gaining valuable experience in software development. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Arcway from September 2007 to July 2008.
