Case Taintor

Case Taintor has a diverse work experience that spans multiple companies and roles. Starting in 2004, they worked as a Computer Engineering Intern at the Naval Research Laboratory. In 2005, they served as a Research Assistant at the University of Virginia. From 2006 to 2009, Case worked as a Software Engineer I & II at Boeing, where they contributed to the development of DataMaster and Spatial Query Server (SQS).

In 2009, Case joined Rosetta Stone as a Software Engineer II & Independent Contractor. Case served as a ScrumMaster and Tech Lead for Rosetta Stone Manager (RSM), a Ruby on Rails & Adobe Flex product. Case led improvements in reporting capabilities, implementing strategies to handle larger user volumes and increase report generation efficiency.

Most recently, Case has been with Klarna since 2012, starting as a Software Engineer Team Lead and progressing to various roles such as Software Architect and Acting Chief Architect. Case was responsible for developing and launching a consumer payment portal and implementing a RESTful API for e-commerce partners. In 2019, Case became the Director of Developer Services and eventually rose to the position of Senior Director, a role they currently hold.

Case Taintor holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Virginia, which they obtained between the years 2002 and 2006. Later, in the years 2007 and 2008, they pursued an advanced degree and completed a Master of Science program in Computer Science at The Johns Hopkins University.
