Christos Papazafeiropoulos has a strong background in software engineering and management. Christos started their career at the University of Peloponnese as a Network Engineer, where they were responsible for designing, deploying, testing, troubleshooting, and monitoring large-scale network infrastructures. After that, they worked at Ericsson as a Software Designer and Engineer, where they developed mobile applications and evaluated communication frameworks. Christos then co-founded Trebbble and served as the CTO.
In 2012, Christos joined Microsoft's Skype Division as a Senior Software Development Engineer, working on software development projects. Later, they joined Klarna as a Senior Software Engineer, where they played a significant role until 2019. During their time at Klarna, they built and managed a team of six engineers, managed stakeholders across 12 teams, provided competence leadership, and oversaw product management. Christos also hired and coached new team members and led the implementation of services and architecture strategy.
In 2016, Christos took on the position of Lead Engineer at Klarna. Currently, they continue to hold this role, demonstrating their expertise and leadership in software engineering and management.
Christos Papazafeiropoulos has a strong educational background in the field of technology and telecommunications. From 2002 to 2006, they attended the University of Peloponnese where they focused on Telecommunications Science and Technology. Following that, from 2006 to 2008, they pursued a M.Sc. in Internetworking at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology with a specialization in ICT.
In addition to their formal education, Christos has obtained certifications in Machine Learning from Coursera in September 2014 and in Certified ScrumMaster® from Scrum Alliance in March 2013. These certifications demonstrate their ongoing commitment to expanding their knowledge and skills in technology and project management.
