Gunnar Tångring

Gunnar Tångring has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Gunnar started their career as a Pupil Assistant at Uppsala kommun in 2002 and later worked as a Head Teacher for an introductory math course at Uppsala University in 2006. In 2007, they became a Teacher's Assistant at Uppsala University. Gunnar then worked as an IT Technician at Komet in 2010 and as a Settlement Engineer at Ericsson IPX AB in the same year. From 2012 to 2015, they served as a Business Intelligence Developer at Svenska Spel. Gunnar joined Klarna in 2016 and held various roles including Business Intelligence Developer (2016-2017), Data Pipeline Developer (2017-2018), Senior Data Engineer (2018-2020), and currently Lead Data Engineer. In their recent roles, they focused on data engineering, migration of workloads to AWS, coding in PySpark, Python, and SQL, and actively contributed to the architecture and recruitment efforts in Klarna's data team.

Gunnar Tångring pursued their education from 2003 to 2010 at Uppsala University. During this period, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Economics, which they completed in 2010. Additionally, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Sociotechnical Systems Engineering, which they completed in the same year. In 2006 and 2007, Gunnar Tångring participated in an exchange program at the University of Antwerp, focusing on Economics and Business studies.
