Paul Clifford

Paul Clifford has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Paul began their career as a consultant and employee in a range of IT roles, including Project Director, Project Manager, Developer, Business Analyst, and Team Lead. In 1996, they founded Albatross Systems Consulting Inc.

At Fujitsu, Paul worked as a Senior Project Manager for Infrastructure rollouts from 1998 to 2000. Following this, they joined Brainpool Consulting AB as a Project Manager from 2000 to 2005.

From 2006 to 2017, Paul worked at Kindred Group plc (formerly Unibet Group plc). Paul started as a Senior Project Manager, overseeing a major project with a budget of 100 million SEK. Paul then took on the role of Head of Sourcing and Procurement, where they established and led the sourcing and procurement function for the organization. During this time, they collaborated with various stakeholders to develop procurement strategies and optimize agreements.

Since 2017, Paul has been employed at Klarna. Paul initially served as the Head of Sourcing and Procurement, responsible for developing the company's sourcing, procurement, and supplier management functions. Subsequently, they transitioned to the role of Strategic Sourcing Manager, focusing on operational procurement for Klarna's key services.

Throughout their career, Paul has demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, procurement, and project management while working with various stakeholders and teams.

Paul Clifford attended the University of Waterloo from 1981 to 1986, where they earned a Bachelor of Mathematics (Honors) degree with a focus on Information Systems. Their studies encompassed the fields of Computer Science and Business.
