Selin Capkin

Selin Capkin has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Selin is currently working at Klarna as the Head of Partner Success, where they lead a team of 9 individuals from different competences and fosters business growth for enterprise partners across different verticals. Prior to this, Selin worked at Klarna as a Commercial Business Development Manager, providing guidance to partners like IKEA, Nike, and Trendyol on how to grow their business.

Before joining Klarna, Selin worked at Ace & Tate as an Expansion Strategy & Business Development Manager. Selin also gained valuable experience at H&M, where they held different roles such as Leasing Strategy Manager (Sweden and Hong Kong & Macao), Expansion Controlling Manager (Greater China Region), Commercial Store Developer (Hong Kong, Macao & Taiwan), and Global Expansion and Sales Trainee (Sweden, Singapore & Hong Kong).

Selin's early career includes roles at Google as a B2B Marketing professional, SECEUR as a Senior Consultant and Team Leader, EUREOS as a Strategy Club Member, and CEMS Club Rotterdam as a Social Committee Member. Selin also worked at Square Melon Netherlands as a Brand Promoter, where they activated brands through sampling activities, and at Primark Stores Ltd as a Supervisor and Department Manager, responsible for maximizing sales and store operations.

Furthermore, Selin served as the Marketing Committee Coordinator at RSM STAR, the study association of the Rotterdam School of Management. Selin'sexperience showcases their expertise in partner success, business development, strategy, marketing, and retail operations.

Selin Capkin's education history is as follows:

From 2012 to 2014, Selin attended the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in CEMS International Management.

In the same period, from 2012 to 2013, Selin also attended Tsinghua University as part of a CEMS International Management Exchange program, where they earned another Master of Science (MSc) degree.

Prior to their Master's degrees, Selin attended Koç University from 2011 to 2012 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in International Business.

Before their Bachelor's degree, Selin completed their first Bachelor's degree in International Business Administration from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. Selin attended this program from 2009 to 2012.

In terms of additional certifications, Selin obtained their Pilates Teacher certification from PLTS in December 2021. Selin also holds a Registered Yoga Teacher 200 hour (RYT 200) certification from Yoga Alliance, earned in October 2019. In addition, Selin is a certified NASM Certified Personal Trainer (NASM-CPT) from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), which they obtained in June 2018. Lastly, they hold an Emergency Response Officer certification from BHVNederland, obtained in February 2020.

Selin's high school education was completed at Haarlemmermeer Lyceum from 2003 to 2009, where they obtained VWO, Economics & Society as their degree.
