Mark Aquilina

Mark Aquilina has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Mark currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer & Data Science Lead at Klarrio APAC, where they specialize in data engineering, DevOps, and analytics. Prior to this role, Aquilina held the position of Managing Director and Co-Founder at VSEA Ventures & Strategy Execution Asia from 2015 to 2017. Mark has also worked as a freelance consultant, providing business advisory, strategy, and big data services to various companies including Telstra, Cisco, and Taylor Fry. Aquilina has had notable roles at Telstra, where they served as Director of Pricing and Director of Corporate Strategy, and at Cisco Systems, where they engaged in consulting engagements with the Smart Solutions Group MD. Additionally, they have worked at Taylor Fry Consulting Actuaries and ABN AMRO as a data analytics partner and senior manager, respectively. Aquilina's expertise includes business strategy, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and venture capital.

Mark Aquilina has an MBA from AGSM @ UNSW Business School. Mark also has an MBA (exchange) with a focus on Finance from London Business School. In addition, they hold a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical Engineering from UNSW.
