Ashley McDermott

Ashley McDermott is a seasoned professional in education and communication, currently serving as Principal Partner Education Specialist at Klaviyo since September 2019, with a prior progression through roles such as Senior Customer Education Specialist and Technical Writer. Before joining Klaviyo, McDermott worked as a Business Development Consultant at Oracle and interned in various writing and marketing positions, including Professional Writing Intern at LEARN TO COPE INC, where Ashley created the organization’s first newsletter, and Marketing Intern at both Weekend Student Adventures and Fuller Craft Museum. McDermott holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and English from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, along with honors in Creative Writing and Technical Writing and Professional Communication, and is currently pursuing further studies in English Language and Literature at University College Cork.
