Emily Barrera

Emily Barrera has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Emily started their career as a Regional Marketing Coordinator and Marketing Program Specialist at Leasing Group, Inc from June 1996 to December 1997. Emily then worked as a Marketing Manager at VR Systems, Inc from January 1999 to August 2001. After that, they joined Education Service Center, Region 2 and held multiple roles including Marketing Specialist from August 2001 to July 2010, Human Resources & Marketing Administrator from July 2010 to January 2013, and finally, Associate Director for Center for Innovation and Internal Services from January 2013 to December 2014. Emily then worked as a Marketing Specialist at Enerflex Ltd. from January 2015 to March 2018. Currently, they are employed at Kleberg Bank and has held the positions of Director of Marketing Communications from March 2018 to June 2022 and their current role as Marketing Communications & Talent Management Director starting from June 2022.

Emily Barrera received a B.S. in Advertising Communications from The University of Texas at Austin in 1994. Emily later pursued an M.B.A. in Business from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi from 2009 to 2011. Prior to their higher education, they attended Roy Miller High School, although their specific degree and field of study are unknown.
