Eduardo Mendez

Eduardo Mendez is the current Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Kleen-Tex Industries, a 54-year-old privately held middle-market company in the textile manufacturing industry. Kleen-Tex, through its subsidiaries, manufactures, designs, develops, and sells a wide variety of industrial mats such as entrance, logo, anti-fatigue, scraper mats, as well as designer mats for the home.

Mendez has been with Kleen-Tex since July 2019 and leads the global finance and administration organization with operations in North America, South America, Europe, Asia-Pacific and Africa.

Prior to joining Kleen-Tex, Mendez served as the Senior Director of Finance for the Power Equipment Group at Techtronic Industries - TTI from January 2018 to December 2019. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the Power Equipment Group including financial planning and analysis, controllership, treasury, and tax.

Before TTI, Mendez was the Director of International Finance at Carter's | OshKosh B'gosh from January 2013 to December 2018. In this role, they were responsible for leading all aspects of finance for the company's international operations including financial planning and analysis, treasury, tax, and risk management.

Mendez began their career as the Finance Director (CFO) for Caribbean Operations (Latin America Region) at The Clorox Company from January 2010 to December 2013. In this

Eduardo Mendez has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Penn State University in the field of finance. Eduardo also attended The University of Chicago Booth School of Business for their CFO Executive Program. Their undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in economics from University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras.
