Dawn Sharpeta-Black

Dawn Sharpeta-Black is an accomplished educator with extensive experience in English instruction. Currently serving as an English Instructor at Lone Star College-University Park since August 2015, while also working as a Secondary English Teacher for Klein ISD since July 2013. Dawn holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction and English from Sam Houston State University, obtained between 2012 and 2013, as well as a Bachelor of Education in Secondary Education and Teaching from Santa Fe University of Art and Design completed in 2000. Earlier academic achievements include a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Pittsburgh, earned in 1996.
