Bob Solotar

Bob Solotar is an experienced Environmental Planner and Permitting Specialist with a career spanning over three decades in the field of environmental planning and regulatory compliance. Currently employed at Kleinfelder since August 2020, Bob focuses on projects for Caltrans District 4 in the San Francisco Bay Area, assisting with permitting and compliance issues related to the Bay Conservation and Development Commission and coastal permitting agencies. Prior experience includes significant roles at Garcia & Associates and NRM Environmental Consulting, where Bob also specialized in environmental planning for Caltrans. Additional noteworthy involvement includes a volunteer position on the Executive Committee of the SF Bay Chapter of the Sierra Club from 2002 to 2008 and earlier work in environmental assessment and regulatory research with RJS Consulting and LFR Levine Fricke. Bob holds an AA in Solar Technology from San Jose City College and a BA in Environmental Planning from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
