Reza Akhavan

Reza Akhavan, PE, serves as the Senior Vice President at Kleinfelder since March 2024. Previously, Reza held the role of Vice President - Denver Office Leader at HNTB from August 2020 to November 2023, and Vice President at Yeh and Associates, Inc., overseeing firmwide operations and business development for eight offices in Colorado and California from April 2019 to July 2020. Earlier in the career, Reza was the Division Vice President – Rocky Mountain Operations Manager at Jacobs from October 2012 to March 2019, managing multiple regional offices with substantial revenue and overseeing significant transportation projects. Reza's extensive experience includes serving as Transportation Director at the Colorado Department of Transportation for 27 years, leading a large team and managing operations across the Denver metropolitan area's multimodal transportation system. Reza holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Colorado Denver.
