Zia Zafir

Zia Zafir serves as the Senior Vice President at Kleinfelder since January 2018, where responsibilities include acting as the Chief Engineer and National Practice Leader for Seismic and Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering. Previously, Zia held various roles at Kleinfelder from July 1994 to 2009, including Principal Engineer and Senior Engineer. Educational credentials encompass a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila, followed by a Master of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science in Geotechnical Engineering from Iowa State University. Zia also attained a Doctor of Philosophy in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno.
