Yan Fossat

Yan’s professional experience is as broad as it is eclectic. His love affair with technology began at an early age while programming videogames in BASIC on a ZX8 and he’s been leading the wave of digital medical innovation ever since.

After studying math and physics, Yan achieved a professional certification as a medical photographer, specializing in biochemical visualization in France. Following his relocation to Canada, Yan spent over five years developing his 3D modeling, animation, and programming skills, and managing an IT side business before launching one of the first medical 3D animation companies in 1998.

When he’s not using his extensive knowledge of human-computer interaction, gamification, 3D technologies, and artificial intelligence to design new apps or medical simulators, Yan can be found rebuilding vintage motorcycles in his garage.

Yan was named a PM360 ELITE Transformational Leader and recognized by MM&M as an Innovation Catalyst in 2017.
