Simone Ariane Ahrens-Mende

Simone Ariane Ahrens-Mende is an experienced leader in clinical data management and biostatistics with a rich professional background. Currently serving as the Director of Data Management & Biostatistics at KLIFO A/S since January 2021, Ahrens-Mende guides statistical strategies for clinical trials and contributes to business development in the German market. Prior roles include Director of Project Management at Cytel, Project Director and Associate Director of Global Data Management at PAREXEL, and Managing Director at ICRC-Weyer GmbH. Ahrens-Mende also has academic experience as a Distance University Lecturer in Clinical Data Management. Ahrens-Mende holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Trial Management and a University Diploma in Economical Mathematics & Statistics from Berlin University of Applied Sciences Berlin, along with additional educational qualifications in office management and economics.
