Dennis Melzer

Dennis Melzer is an Expert Scientist specializing in Soil & Monitoring and Head of R&D at Klim since July 2022, where the focus is on supporting farmers in the transition to regenerative agriculture through a comprehensive digital platform. Prior to this role, Dennis Melzer served as a Research Scientist at the Institute of Agricultural and Urban Ecological Projects at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin from October 2018 to July 2022, engaging in research and development projects on agricultural and urban ecology. Earlier experience includes a position as a Research Assistant at the Leibniz Centre for Agricultural Landscape Research (ZALF) from 2014 to 2018, where investigations into carbon and nitrogen dynamics of tropical soils contributed to agroecosystem modeling. Dennis Melzer holds a Dr. rer. nat. from the Technische Universität Berlin, where education also included a Master of Science in Urban Ecosystem Science and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Science.
