Andreas Pursian

Andreas Pursian has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Andreas is currently the Co-Founder and CTO of Climate Labs GmbH, a company focused on addressing climate change. Prior to this, they co-founded release2 GmbH in 2018 and Mighty - Self defense fitness in the same year, where they served as a Co-Founder and CTO. Andreas also worked as the CTO Hyper at mic.com from 2016 to 2017, and was a Co-Founder and CTO at Hyper from 2015 to 2017. Andreas co-founded Awkward / Blur in 2014, where they served as the Co-Founder and CTO, and Pinio in 2013, where they were a Co-Founder. Andreas also has experience as a Research fellow at Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Recht Berlin from 2011 to 2013, and as an IT Consultant at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in 2011. Prior to that, they worked as the IT Coordinator and Head of Department at AGEF from 2008 to 2011.

Andreas Pursian attended Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin from 2002 to 2008, where they obtained a Diplom Informatiker (FH) degree in Applied Computer Science. From 2005 to 2007, they also studied Political Science at Freie Universität Berlin. In addition to their formal education, Andreas Pursian obtained a certification as a Graduate of Microsoft Ventures Accelerator from Microsoft in May 2014.
