Sandeep Krishnappa currently serves at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership within the Trust in Sustainability - 2024 Cohort and holds the position of CPO/CTO at KlimateNet, focusing on Web 3 products, community, and knowledge development. Sandeep's extensive experience includes organizing TEDxWoodLane with a focus on Web3, Climate Change, and Tech, as well as roles as ESG Strategy Advisor and Knowledge and Procedures Lead at NFU Mutual. Sandeep has participated in multiple cohorts such as ReFi Talents and La French Tech London, and previously held leadership positions at the Trust Over IP Foundation, infoeaze, and KBR, Inc. Educational qualifications feature advanced studies in Blockchain Strategy from the University of Oxford, Artificial Intelligence from Udacity, and a Master's in Enterprise Systems from Sheffield Hallam University, among other credentials.

KlimateNet’s mission is to empower professionals worldwide into action and connect, interact and act in order to actively contribute to the removal of carbon emissions at scale. We reward and empower active members and contributors of the KlimateNet community with tokens that can be invested in carbon certificates issued by high integrity projects. KlimateNet attracts a large network of credible experts, influencers and practitioners ready to share their expertise, know-how and insights to create mutually beneficial projects including the creation of employment opportunities. We are connecting members digitally via our website and thanks to carefully curated events. We will also release our App in May 2022. We are a pre-seed start-up founded by a diverse and inclusive team of three passionate and talented professionals combining 30+ years’ business experience and 20+ years’ practice of social entrepreneurship. We bring together an array of knowledge including technology, finance and marketing. We met, in April 2021, at the Cambridge based incubator Carbon13 who selected us to take part in their exclusive program. Our goal is to reward 10 million professionals worldwide to work together to save 10 million tonnes of CO2e emissions by 2050.
