Prof. Dr. Alexandra D Jensen has extensive experience in the field of radiation oncology. Prof. Dr. Alexandra D is currently serving as the Director of the Department of Radiation Oncology at Klinikum Fulda gAG since 2023. Prior to this, they held positions at various renowned institutions including Philipps-Universität Marburg, University Hospital Gießen and Marburg (UKGM), Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München, LMU - Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, University of Heidelberg, and Insel Gruppe. Prof. Dr. Alexandra D Jensen has a diverse and extensive education history. Prof. Dr. Alexandra D obtained their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in Radiation Biology/Radiobiology from Heidelberg University in the years 1995 to 2002. In the same period, they also obtained their State Exam in Medicine from Heidelberg University.

Following this, Prof. Dr. Jensen pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Medical Engineering and Physics (MEP) from King's College London from 2002 to 2003.

In 2009, they completed their Habilitation/venia legendi in radiation oncology from Heidelberg University. This was followed by their Board Certification in Radiation Oncology from Ärztekammer Nordbaden in June 2009.

Prof. Dr. Jensen continued their educational journey by pursuing a Master's Degree in Health Economics, Policy, and Management (HEPM) from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), which they completed from 2013 to 2016.

Most recently, in 2021, they attended the MIT Sloan Executive Education program, specializing in AI in Healthcare.

Additionally, Prof. Dr. Jensen holds various certifications, including a Specialist Register Clinical Oncology from the General Medical Council obtained in December 2017, and a Board Certification in Radiation Oncology from the Federal Office of Public Health FOPH obtained in June 2015.
