Amr Askar

Amr Askar, CPA, has a diverse work experience that spans different roles and industries. Most recently, they served as the Head of Finance at Klivvr starting in December 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Finance Business Partner at Beyti - A Joint Venture of Almarai & Pepsico from July 2015 to August 2022.

Before their time at Beyti, Amr worked at ExxonMobil as the North Africa and Middle East Senior Financial Reporting and Analysis from June 2013 to June 2015. In this role, they were responsible for submitting monthly and quarterly financial reports, as well as controlling the overhead cost allocation to different business lines using various cost driver assumptions.

Amr also gained experience as an Accounting Specialist at Orascom telecom Media & Technology from February 2012 to May 2013. Prior to that, they worked as an assistant auditor at KPMG from April 2009 to December 2011.

With their extensive work experience in finance and accounting, Amr brings a strong background in financial reporting, analysis, and control to their current role as the Head of Finance at Klivvr.

Amr Askar, CPA, pursued their education at the Faculty of Commerce Ain Shams University (English Section) from 2004 to 2008. During their time at the university, they specialized in the field of Accounting. In December 2012, Amr obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA).
