Thaysa Colman is a seasoned hydrogeologist with extensive experience in mining and environmental assessments. Currently employed at Klohn Crippen Berger since October 2019, Thaysa conducts hydrogeological studies for mining complexes in Canada, focusing on numerical modeling, geochemical analyses, and various field tests. Prior to this role, Thaysa developed hydrogeological studies for multiple mining sites at MDGEO Hidrogeologia e Meio Ambiente and conducted environmental assessments at Evora Engineering Firm. In earlier positions, Thaysa engaged in scientific research on oil and gas reservoirs at Petrobras and gained expertise in coal and water chemistry during an internship at Indústria Carbonífera Rio Deserto Ltda. Thaysa holds a Bachelor's degree in Geology from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and is currently pursuing a Master of Engineering in Geological and Earth Sciences at The University of British Columbia.
