Kenny McGarvey

Kenny McGarvey has a long history of working in the engineering and software development fields. Kenny began their career in 2010 as a Research Programmer at the University of Houston. In 2011, they joined Entrance Consulting as a Sr. Software Consultant and Engineering Manager, working on custom development and SharePoint implementations. In 2017, they moved to Spared as their CTO. In 2019, they began working at Varo Bank as a GraphQL Technical Lead. Most recently, in 2022, they became the Director of Engineering at Klover.

Kenny McGarvey obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Houston between 2007 and 2011. Since then, they have obtained several certifications, including a JavaScript Specialist (1D0-635) from CIWcertified in September 2013, an MCSA: SQL Server 2012 from Microsoft in April 2013, an MCSD: Web Applications (.NET 4.5) from Microsoft in April 2013, an MCSD: Windows Store Apps using C# from Microsoft in April 2013, an MCSD: Windows Store Apps using HTML5 from Microsoft in April 2013, an MCSE: Data Platform (SQL Server 2012) from Microsoft in April 2013, an MCSE: SharePoint 2013 from Microsoft in April 2013, an MCPD: SharePoint Developer 2010 from Microsoft in March 2013, an MCTS: SharePoint 2010, Application Development from Microsoft in March 2013, a Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance in December 2012, and an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services.
