Martin Knoph

Martin Knoph has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Martin currently works at KLP as the Head of Systems, Valuation and Data Management. Martin previously served as the Chief Data Officer at KLP Kapitalforvaltning, where they were responsible for data management processes, data vendor management, data cost optimization, and data governance. Before that, they held a senior analyst position at KLP Kapitalforvaltning, where they worked on various data management tasks and collaborated with data vendors. Prior to joining KLP, Martin worked at Norges Bank Investment Management as a senior analyst, focusing on data sourcing, market data, data quality, and data warehouse. Martin also worked as a senior consultant/partner at AITC AS and as a self-employed consultant under their own name. Martin began their career at Norsk Kraft as a financial analyst and later worked at Deloitte as a senior consultant.

Martin Knoph completed their MSc in the Department of Industrial Economics and Technology Management (siv.ing. ind.øk.) at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 1996 to 2000. Later in their education, they pursued an MBA in Finance from Cass Business School, attending from 2005 to 2006.
