Patrick Lopez CPA, CGMA has extensive experience in financial leadership, serving as Treasurer for the Texas Public Broadcasting Association since 2008 and holding positions as Executive Vice President and CFO at KLRN since May 1993, along with a tenure as Interim President and CEO. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior at Ernst & Young from January 1988 to May 1993 and Assistant Service Manager/Assistant Bookkeeper at HEB from January 1978 to December 1987. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from The University of Texas at San Antonio and completion of the Executive Management Development Seminar at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management in July 2007.

The mission of KLRN is to open a world of lifelong learning through trustworthy and enriching programs on-air, online and in the community. KLRN is PBS. No one else does what we do. We get children ready to learn and we bring adults on journeys of exploration and adventure through our programs, events and resources. We strive daily to maintain our status as a quality local resource that provides news and information that our community needs to know about.
