Troy Kitch has over 20 years of experience in product management and product marketing. Troy began their career in 1997 at Veritas Software as a Product Marketing Manager, where they were responsible for executing and reporting on replication technology-related outbound marketing programs. In 2001, they joined Borland Software as a Product Management and Product Marketing Manager, where they were responsible for the worldwide strategy and direction of Borland C++ and Java development tools. In 2005, they moved to VeriSign as a Sr. Product Manager. Troy then joined MontaVista Software in 2007 as a Sr. Product Line Marketing Manager. In 2010, they joined Vormetric (acquired by Thales) as a Sr. Product Marketing Manager, and then Oracle as a Sr. Director, Product Marketing and GTM, Security. In 2019, they joined Malwarebytes as a Vice President, Products, and in 2021 they joined 1Password as a Vice President, Products, where they worked with the CEO and CPO to help set the vision for the largest valuation in Canadian history, $6.8B. Troy is currently an Operating Executive at both Resurgens Technology Partners and Knack.
Troy Kitch graduated from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in 1995 with a B.S. in AgBusiness Marketing. In 2014, they obtained a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP\u00ae) from (ISC)\u00b2. In 2021, they obtained a Pricing: Using Data to Improve Pricing Performance certification from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
