Alex Aleman

Alex Aleman currently serves as the Director of Risk Management & Infection Prevention at Knapp Medical Center and is an Adjunct Professor at Texas School of Health Sciences, developing and teaching microbiology courses for nursing students. Previous experience includes roles as Quality Manager and Infection Preventionist at South Texas Health System, Clinical Microbiologist at AccessDx Lab, and AP Biology Lead Instructor at IDEA Public Schools. Additionally, Alex has held adjunct professor positions in microbiology at South University and has experience as a research assistant at The University of Texas at Austin. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, a Master's degree in Microbiology, a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Law degree at St. Mary's University.
