Amado Bermudez- McLaud has worked in a variety of roles since 2010. In 2010, they were a Computer Lab Consultant for Academic Information Technology Services. From 2011-2014, they worked as a Professional Body Piercer for Golden Lotus Tattoo Studio and as an English Foreign Language Teacher for International Institute of Education. In 2014, they were an Art Services Representative for F&M Expressions. From 2015-2018, Amado worked as a Sales Specialist for REI, Customer Care Advocate & Technical Support for Nautilus Inc., Customer Service Representative for Daddies Board Shop, and Office Manager & Administrative Assistant for Quantum Spatial. In 2018, they became an Operations Manager for Basalt, a role they held until 2020 when they became an Operations Manager for Knapsack. In this role, they were responsible for HR processes, AP/AR & Accounting, Data Visualization, drafting and publishing Company Policies & Organizational Culture initiatives, Facilities & Office Management, and Creative Services.

Amado Bermudez- McLaud obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication Studies and Art from SUNY Oneonta. In 2013, they obtained a 100-Hour TESOL/TESL/TEFL Teacher Training from Oxford Seminars. Amado also holds a CPR Certification from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association.
