Josh Mabry

Josh Mabry has a diverse work experience, starting in 2012 when they worked as a Fabricator and Teacher at ADX Portland, where they collaborated with a team to fabricate various projects for clients such as Nike, Adidas, and Redbull. In 2013, they founded their own company, made.by.mabry, where they designed, fabricated, and sold hand-made lighting and accessories for residential and commercial spaces.

In 2007, Josh joined Kelly's Olympian as a Bartender/Manager, where they created a welcoming environment, managed a diverse team, and implemented streamlined processes to improve profitability. Josh worked there until 2019.

From 2019 to 2019, Josh worked as a Full Stack Ruby on Rails/Javascript Developer at Planet Argon. In this role, they used Jira software to identify and solve problems, built search functionality for the company's blog, and resolved a bug in the administrator dashboard.

Josh then served as a Frontend Web Developer at Phase2 from 2021 to 2023, before joining Knapsack in 2023 as a Software Developer. At Knapsack, they contribute to a flexible design system platform, promoting collaboration between design, engineering, and product teams to enhance product development and foster innovation.

Josh Mabry attended Epicodus in 2019, where they studied HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ruby/Rails, and ReactJS. Josh did not obtain a degree during their time there. In March 2020, they obtained the AWS Certified Developer – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services. In December 2020, they obtained the Google Analytics certification from Google.
