Iain James

Vice President Of Manufacturing at Knauf Insulation North America

Iain James has extensive work experience in the manufacturing industry. Iain began their career in 1992 as a Safety and Environmental Manager at IMI Santon Ltd. In 1996, they joined Owens Corning as a Hot Process Manager, where they managed the process from raw material delivery to fiber forming and was also responsible for plant engineering and maintenance. During their time at Owens Corning, they were part of a team that won a global recognition award for the development of oxygen/gas fired furnace technology. In 2002, they joined Knauf Insulation as a Plant Manager, overseeing manufacturing operations and other areas such as warehousing, safety, HR, and engineering. Iain later became a Plant Director, responsible for the largest Knauf Insulation factory worldwide and another manufacturing facility in California. In 2015, they joined Knauf Insulation North America as Vice President of Manufacturing.

Iain James completed their Diploma in Business Studies from the University of Wales, Newport, UK from 1994 to 1996. Iain further pursued their education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the same institution from 1997 to 2000.
